Lauren
I’m passionate about two things: the outdoors and dogs! My dream has been to combine the two and that’s how I created Bend Pet Adventures! I was born and raised in Palmer, Alaska and first moved to Bend in 2001. Although over the years Bend has changed a lot I still love exploring all that Oregon has to offer with my three trusty sidekicks
Swayze is an Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix who enjoys chasing birds and running with the pack. He is my wild child and always keeps me on my toes. He loves to love and taste the world.
Elliot is a Border Collie/Yorkshire Terrier mix that is empathetic, caring and truly loves making new friends. This mama’s boy ventures far, but is always the first to be back by my side. He will be your pups new best friend.
Laney is a Yorkshire Terrier/Jack Russell mix and is the newest addition to our pack. She is brave, full of adventure and always the first to take advantage of an empty lap. Don’t let this tiny package fool you, she’s got a big dog personality.
Courtney
I grew up in the Midwest and began training both horses and dogs for competitive events at the age of 10. By the time I was 16 there was no question I wanted to turn my passion for animals into a career. I’ve been in Bend since 2004 and now have over 25 years experience as a professional animal trainer. I’ve also managed a large-scale boarding kennel, worked as a vet tech, managed top class equestrian facilities, and run my own dog-sitting business.
Simone is a 1-year-old Jack Russell Terrier (the short-legged variety) that hasn’t met a dog she doesn’t love or experienced an adventure she isn’t up for! When she’s not helpingentertain the other pups under Courtney’s care, she enjoys helping with the farm chores, participating in Jack Russell Trials, and going to the pet store to see the small animals (including the fish!). Her favorite games involve being chased by other dogs and keepingCourtney from putting on socks.

Born & raised in Central Oregon, my dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with huskies, GSP's, & labs. I worked at a Veterinary Clinic & a doggy daycare in the past but have been a full time Licensed Massage Therapist for the last 16 years. I am the go-to caregiver for all my family & friends pets. I've been sending my pup with BPA for 2 years now and he absolutely loves it. My dream has always been to create a career out of my love of dogs so I'm excited to be able to join in on the fun myself.
Finn: is my 3 year old GSP/Lab mix. He is a rescue from the Humane Society of Central Oregon & has been with me since he was 8 weeks old. He is a lovable goofball with a passion for swimming, hiking, catching falling snow, & jumping head first into life's adventures. He is looking forward to exploring with your pups.
Louella
I was born and raised in the rolling hills of rural Pennsylvania. My happy place has always been spending time barefoot in nature with my dogs, or caring/spending time with children at summercamps. After breeding and raising a few litters of puppies with my own dog I decided to move toCentral Oregon (in the summer of 2017) to pursue my dream of becoming a dog trainer. I never finished my degree in canine studies but have worked at multiple doggy daycare and landscaping jobs through the years. I am now almost finished with completing my professionaldog training Certificate and am very excited to join the BPA team. If I’m not out exploring the beautiful Central Oregon nature with my pup, then it probably means I am enjoying one of my many other hobbies of playing rugby, playing guitar/singing, rock climbing, skiing or going for mountain bike rides.
Catori: is my 13 year old Golden retriever whom I’ve had since she was 8 weeks old. Catori has been my faithful companion through all the hardest and joyous times of my life and she continues to teach me what it means to be a kind and patient guardian to our four footed friends. Her favorite activities are exploring all the beauty Central Oregon has to offer and riding the front of my paddle board where she proudly keeps her nose high to smell whatever the wind may bring.
